North Pole Sleigh Ride - Caryn Wiegand Neidhold
Let your youngest players explore the North Pole through this cheery exploration of the D and A string notes using all quarter notes and rest. Starting pizzicato and ending arco, beginners can show off their early playing skills. Optional parts for Orff Ensemble will allow you to combine with general music classes and invite even more students to participate in this music making adventure.
Notes To the Conductor:
It’s best to have the Sleigh Bells and Temple Blocks play along with any string performance, while the additional “Orff Ensemble" parts are completely optional. The Orff Ensemble parts provide a great way to collaborate with your general music colleagues and invite even more students to participate in this music making adventure. Note: the Metallophone and Xylophone parts are meant to be flexible wherein you could have soprano and/or alto version of each instrument.
