As humans have risen to be the prominent species of their world, dragons are seen as a looming threat due to their destructive power. Fury Rising takes you into the mind of the very first dragon, known as the “Monarch of Scales,” as it ponders the potential for taking revenge on the kingdom.

Each of the pieces in this series include a short story that can be used as narration before performing or can be shared with students as part of their preparation to play the piece.
Fury Rising
At the edge of the kingdom there is a place known as the Valley of Storms, where lightning, fire, ice, and the roar of thunder are never ending. It is said that if you listen close enough, you can hear the voice of the alpha dragon roaring over the wind...
