Randall Standridge introduces young players to march style with a spooky twist in Black Moon March, a dark and mysterious minor-mode march for beginning band. Built around the first six notes typically taught, this piece also introduces Concert F♯ in a fun and approachable way. Melodies are passed throughout the ensemble, and optional A (advanced) and B (easier) percussion parts provide flexibility for developing players. A great choice for concert or festival, and an especially fun fit for a Halloween performance. “Randy Standy Study Buddies” are available for this work to support learning and rehearsal.
