Emily Golan is a teacher, violinist, and composer. She holds degrees in Violin Performance & Pedagogy from Central Washington University and Whitworth University, and is a public school teacher in Washington state, where she has taught all levels of orchestra. She is active in the community as a clinician, adjudicator, and presenter, and is a board member and musician with the South Sound Community Orchestra. As an experienced educator, Emily writes with her students in mind, and always strives to create music that will resonate with both performers and audiences. In her spare time, Emily enjoys reading, quilting, listening to Taylor Swift, and spending time with her family and friends.
